Seeking event coordinator for launch tour!

A Mile Wide

EVENT COORDINATOR x2 (must be US-based)

A Mile Wide is a forthcoming feature documentary film from the award-winning team behind last year's One For Ten. Examining the modern state of America's death penalty and revealing how its impact echoes behind the death chamber, the film is currently in production, with a scheduled release of early 2016.

We are soon to be launching a crowd funding campaign to raise the critical funding to allow us to finish filming. The campaign will run beginning of November for 30 days.

To get things started with a bang and launch the campaign, we're planning a 3-stop mini tour of some key US cities with an event in each. We're looking for two super organised, proactive self-starters with a good imagination to be our US-based event coordinators for the tour. You'll be liaising with our producer in London and with our partner organisations who'll be hosting the events in each city.

We're looking for a coordinator in New York City and another in California.

To start: ASAP for events tour to start beginning November.

Unfortunately, and much to our dismay, this is currently an expenses-only position. However, we would hope to raise funds during the crowd funding campaign to allow us to change that retroactively!

If you think you've got the skills and the passion, send Laura an email (laura@reelnice.co.uk) with a brief paragraph about yourself and why you'd like to make our tour a fantastic launch celebration.

A Mile Wide - join the team!

A Mile Wide is our feature documentary film in production - it examines the state of America's modern death penalty, pulling back the curtain on the country's most controversial punishment.

We've been filming for 10 months and have now hit a critical point in the film's genesis. So we're looking for some helping hands to join the team and work with us to take the film to the next stage.

Sony - Delivering the World Cup in Brazil to the World - Shot in 4K

We went over to Munich to make a film for Sony on the work that is being done to bring the World Cup to the world. We made two films, a case study and a walkaround of the massive secret assembly location to be show at NAB 2014 in Las Vegas and then again further down the line. The films were shot entirely in 4K on new Sony f55 cinema camera's and were delivered in 4K and HD.

One For Ten nominated for a Webby Award!

We're honoured and more than a little excited to share that One For Ten has been nominated for a Webby Award!

Recognising the best of the web, this award is a little like the Oscars for the internet, and we're absolutely over the moon to be on the list of nominees.

While the awards will be decided by a judging panel, we are also in line for a People's Voice Webby Award. But the only way we'll stand a chance is if we get enough public votes. So we're asking for your help, please!

Filming in Munich for Sony

We've spent the last few days in Munich making a film for Sony about their work with the Host Broadcasting Services to bring the World Cup to life. They have been working to produce 12 separate temporary broadcast units for the tournament, the biggest broadcast challenge in World Cup history.

Watch this space for the final film and in the meantime here's a photo of Mark up a fork lift filming the secret location.
