We produced this film for The View From The Shard to show all of the things that they'd been up to in 2014
What's it like to be a digital futurist, a tech messiah, an electronic prophet? Well we don't know either, but Nimrod Kamer does (or thinks he does) and heads off to CES2015 to find out about all the new tech on show in Las Vegas. Things don't turn out quite as he planned though.
We worked for Don't Panic to make this series of 12 short films for Channel 4 Shorts. Each film focuses on a different future technology and trend and we're guided through this weird and wonderful world by the hilarious KG. The first 4 are out and there are 8 more to come. They're really fun and a good laugh! We hope you enjoy them.
After producing the content for Mind The Product since its inception in London three years ago, we're really proud of them and excited to be helping them take the conference to San Francisco, the spiritual home of the tech world. Check out this promo we've produced for them to advertise it next year.
We produced this TV promo for the kids entertainment and education app Hopster. As well as this spot which runs on Freeview to advertise a new TV tie-in, we produced over 40 short clips for their website, an online video to run on their site and multiple other bits of content.
Our new project, The Penalty has gone live on kickstarter.
The Penalty is a feature-length (90-minute) documentary film examining the state of modern capital punishment in the USA. Our three main stories follow people who – in different ways - live with the death penalty every day. To find out more about the project, head on over to thepenaltyfilm.com and please do throw a few pennies our way to help make this film happen.
It's all hands on deck preparing to kick off our crowd funding campaign for our feature documentary The Penalty TOMORROW!
We'll be celebrating the launch with events in London, San Francisco, New York and Washington D.C. We'll be showing exclusive extended clips from the film so if you're nearby don't miss out on your chance to get a sneak peek at what we've been up to! We've also got incredible speakers lined up for each event.
Over the next month we'll be needing your help to spread the word about the project as much as possible so please do get involved and help if you can. You can follow us on Twitter at @thepenaltyfilm and we're on Facebook HERE. If you'd like to chat to us about ways you can support, email Laura at laura@reelnice.co.uk
We've just released this short taster of The Penalty, our new documentary looking at the current state of the death penalty in the USA.
To launch our crowdfund to finish the filming of The Penalty, we're doing some very special events in a few key cities from the 6th of November to the 13th and you're invited. At each event, we'll be introducing our new project, showing some exclusive clips and hearing from some of the world's experts on the death penalty in the USA. If you're in London, San Francisco, New York or Washington DC, we'd love to see you there. There are some event pages over on our facebook page with more info and we'll be updating here in days to come.
For the third year, we have filmed the fantastic Mind The Product conference. This year, we made three films as well as filming all of the talks and making a launch film for the day and a wrap up film shown at the end of the day which included doing a live edit as the day went on.

A Mile Wide
EVENT COORDINATOR x2 (must be US-based)
A Mile Wide is a forthcoming feature documentary film from the award-winning team behind last year's One For Ten. Examining the modern state of America's death penalty and revealing how its impact echoes behind the death chamber, the film is currently in production, with a scheduled release of early 2016.
We are soon to be launching a crowd funding campaign to raise the critical funding to allow us to finish filming. The campaign will run beginning of November for 30 days.
To get things started with a bang and launch the campaign, we're planning a 3-stop mini tour of some key US cities with an event in each. We're looking for two super organised, proactive self-starters with a good imagination to be our US-based event coordinators for the tour. You'll be liaising with our producer in London and with our partner organisations who'll be hosting the events in each city.
We're looking for a coordinator in New York City and another in California.
To start: ASAP for events tour to start beginning November.
Unfortunately, and much to our dismay, this is currently an expenses-only position. However, we would hope to raise funds during the crowd funding campaign to allow us to change that retroactively!
If you think you've got the skills and the passion, send Laura an email (laura@reelnice.co.uk) with a brief paragraph about yourself and why you'd like to make our tour a fantastic launch celebration.
A Mile Wide is our feature documentary film in production - it examines the state of America's modern death penalty, pulling back the curtain on the country's most controversial punishment.
We've been filming for 10 months and have now hit a critical point in the film's genesis. So we're looking for some helping hands to join the team and work with us to take the film to the next stage.

We had the pleasure of working with Phear Creative to shoot some PSA's with the Kings of Leon to promote the upcoming Lollapalooza and it's broadcast on Redbull TV and Lollapalooza.com.
We're up in Sheffield at Doc/Fest pitching our new feature documentary A Mile Wide about the death penalty in the US. We're really excited for two days of meetings and only a little nervous (ahem).
We went over to Munich to make a film for Sony on the work that is being done to bring the World Cup to the world. We made two films, a case study and a walkaround of the massive secret assembly location to be show at NAB 2014 in Las Vegas and then again further down the line. The films were shot entirely in 4K on new Sony f55 cinema camera's and were delivered in 4K and HD.
We're honoured and more than a little excited to share that One For Ten has been nominated for a Webby Award!
Recognising the best of the web, this award is a little like the Oscars for the internet, and we're absolutely over the moon to be on the list of nominees.
While the awards will be decided by a judging panel, we are also in line for a People's Voice Webby Award. But the only way we'll stand a chance is if we get enough public votes. So we're asking for your help, please!

Tomorrow night, One For Ten will be playing in Palm Springs at the American Documentary Film Festival. We're delighted to be selected for such a great festival and be among some brilliant films. Doors open at 7.30pm and you can buy tickets here.
We've spent the last few days in Munich making a film for Sony about their work with the Host Broadcasting Services to bring the World Cup to life. They have been working to produce 12 separate temporary broadcast units for the tournament, the biggest broadcast challenge in World Cup history.
Watch this space for the final film and in the meantime here's a photo of Mark up a fork lift filming the secret location.
We were really happy to be asked by our Clink Street friends Authoright to help them film their first London Author Fair.
It was a great day of brilliant authors, publishers and experts in the industry going over the new grounds of the publishing industry.
We've been continuing our relationship with Stage Entertainment producing a short film covering the behind the scenes of the photoshoot for new musical 'Made In Dagenham'. Leads Gemma Arterton and Adrian Der Gregorian explain how excited they are about the upcoming show.
