On the day that Donald Trump took office in the white house, many people across the world came out on to their local bridges to say "Build Bridges Not Walls". We were out in force that morning in London with 16 camera people to turn around a super quick edit for social to show how we feel. The film has been viewed over 400K times on facebook, twitter and vimeo.
We always love working with Santa, he's a lovely fellow and a jolly good laugh. For ecological campaign group 1010 we worked with him to show how easily heat can escape your house and give a few tips about how to stay warm this christmas. We hope you enjoy and remember to be nice this christmas and do what's right for the environment and your wallet. You can find out more at 1010uk.org
We continued our work with the great team at Mind The Product for their 2016 London conference. We've seen this conference grow leaps and bounds since the beginning and been there for each of the conferences in London and also now in San Francisco. As always, it's a super fun day and we really enjoyed a lot of the insightful talks. We filmed all of the talks as well as making a few other films on the day including a live edit. You can check out the full talks at Mind The Product's vimeo page.
We worked with a group of young people from multiple galleries around London to make a film about archives and how we use the internet to build archives of our lives. We worked with the group for two days, planning and filming and then we edited it all as a team and we're really happy with how it came out. We think we were really able to delve in to the questions of what people do and do not put online and why.
You can go and see the work at Tate Britain until the end of the year.
We were delighted to head out to France to make a film for Sony Professional at the Paul Ricard racetrack to show how Sony have been helping to improve the track, it's camera systems and fan experience. As fans of cars and camera's, it was a pretty nice shoot to be on and we got some great drone footage of the cars in action.

We made this film for agency Wunderman UK about Sebastiano Galazzo, a programmer from Italy who travels the world for work building apps, designing robotics and doing photography. The film highlights how Uber works seamlessly on Windows 10 and Sebastiano uses the combination as the perfect travelling tool.
We hope you had a very merry festive period. Here at Reel Nice we enjoyed some time off and have returned to the office with gusto, ready to grab 2016 by the horns. Our death row feature documentary The Penalty is in the edit, and we're jumping into development on lots of other projects for TV and online. To that end, we're looking for some energetic and enthusiastic interns to come and work with us for anything from one day a week to full time for a period.
If you're interested in coming to join us for a while, get in touch with our Producer Laura at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We really enjoyed working with Don't Panic again to produce three films for Channel 4 Shorts called Young And Minted: I Won The Lottery. Presented by Olivia Lee, each film meets a young person who won the lottery in their teens and see how they've enjoyed their spoils. The films have been hugely successful on 4 Shorts platform.
On Tuesday the 25th of August and man calling himself Oliver Woodbridge hired a Canon C300 and 4 Lenses off of us. Oliver isn't his name and he had fraudulently acquired insurance as well as providing us with a series of faked documents and drivers license. Obviously as a small company, this is devastating to our ability to keep making the stories that we are dedicated to, ironic considering so much of it is to do with criminal justice reform. As he acquired the insurance fraudulently, we aren't in a position to be able to claim on any of the stolen equipment, leaving us £15K in the hole and without the gear that we've spent the last 5 years building up.
Below is a picture of the perpetrator and a list of the camera equipment stolen with serial numbers. If anyone has any information, please get in touch with email@example.com

We've been filming Damon for two and a half years for The Penalty. We first met him 7 months after he'd been released from Louisiana's death row in Angola when DNA proved he was innocent after 16 years. We have witnessed him meet a wonderful woman, get a job he loves and today setting off to his new life in California. We couldn't be prouder of him. Bon voyage Damon and Veronika!! We look forward to sharing your story with the world.
We're delighted to be working with the Tate Collective, a group of young artists at the Tate to make some films to be used as part of an educational program run by the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The films will be available through MoMa Teens to educate young people all over the world learn about art.
After three successful years in London, Mind The Product this year took over San Francisco, the global hub of technology for its first annual conference in the city. We were glad as always to head with them and made promos to launch the project, filmed all the talks, produced a live highlights film as well as then producing this film to highlight the day.
We produced this film for The View From The Shard to show all of the things that they'd been up to in 2014
What's it like to be a digital futurist, a tech messiah, an electronic prophet? Well we don't know either, but Nimrod Kamer does (or thinks he does) and heads off to CES2015 to find out about all the new tech on show in Las Vegas. Things don't turn out quite as he planned though.
We worked for Don't Panic to make this series of 12 short films for Channel 4 Shorts. Each film focuses on a different future technology and trend and we're guided through this weird and wonderful world by the hilarious KG. The first 4 are out and there are 8 more to come. They're really fun and a good laugh! We hope you enjoy them.
After producing the content for Mind The Product since its inception in London three years ago, we're really proud of them and excited to be helping them take the conference to San Francisco, the spiritual home of the tech world. Check out this promo we've produced for them to advertise it next year.
